Emotions & behavior of animals (baby elephant)

This elephant is a baby, and at this age he is normally always behind of his mom who protects him from any real and present danger providing emotional comfort so critical for the normal development. In the situation shown in the video he is scared and stressed, and his aggression (look at his ears!) is, in fact, defensive. But transformation of the behavior is amazing, and illustrates that method of the "mentor" (when "mentor" -- domestic animal is paving the road for the wild one to become comfortable in captivity, or taking food from human, etc) works very well not only for wild ungulates, but for elephants as well. Very cool.
